History of Willcuts Company Realtors

Being locally owned takes on a special meaning for Willcuts Company Realtors in Newberg Oregon.   Co-owners Mike, Marc and Matt Willcuts grew up in Newberg and are now raising families here.  They have lived in Newberg all their lives and the brothers and their wives all graduated from George Fox College - now they have children at the University.  It’s important to them to have personal relationships with their customers and a long time, personal investment in seeing the community of Newberg succeed.  Because of these relationships, no one sells more Real Estate in Newberg, Dundee or Yamhill County.

 Community involvement is a high priority for the Willcuts brothers.  The company has devoted a portion of their budget to help support music, athletic, and after-school programs for young people in the community and the Chehalem Parks and Recreation District.  They are contributing time and resources to help build a new facility for the Oregon Food Bank – known as YCAP in Yamhill County.  As active members of the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce, this year the brothers we named Newberg’s Citizens of the Year.

Meet The Owners

Matt Willcuts: Principal Broker/Owner

I have been selling real estate since 1994.  As the manager in our office plus being an active agent I keep busy!  While the management is rewarding (to see our brokers successful) I still enjoy the opportunity to work with clients and list and sell property.  This current market has been tough for a lot of people (including myself!)  but I think it has made me a better agent and manager.  One of the best things that has come from this market is that we know and understand what some people are going through.  I believe it creates a relationship where we can help because of our personal experiences.  I appreciate all the past clients and look forward to the future!

Marc Willcuts: Principal Broker/Owner

I have been actively selling real estate since 1983 in the Newberg area.  I have seen different markets in regards to buyer and sellers and I have noticed at least one thing that has never changed:  real estate is a “people” business.  I know there is a lot of useful technology available to all real estate offices and brokers but few have the ability to establish a relationship with a client and develop their trust.  I am looking forward to the coming years in real estate and sincerely believe the markets will pick up.

Mike Willcuts: Owner

I take a less active role in real estate and concentrate on the building/development of future projects for our construction company.  Since starting in construction in 1990 I have had the opportunity to work with many real estate brokers.  I enjoy the brokers at Willcuts Company Realtors and look forward to working with them in each transaction.
